Is it just me or does the public art in Denver blow goats? I really hope it’s not just me. Aside from the decent work at that park in Cherry Creek, (maybe because they’re interactive) I have not seen one inspiring sculpture. Why the shit do “artists” just weld together shipping containers and think it’s art. Art is inspiring and thought provoking. This sucks and somehow even looks like they over thought it…
Sadly, it’s not even close to the worst. That title belongs to anything associated to D.I.A. the two abortions surrounding that place give the worst impressions of visitors to Colorado possible. First and foremost there is this:
They don’t look like anything. Just big aluminum shit piles in the air.
Denver is an amazing artistic city and a breeding ground for a hell of a lot of talent. Someone just needs to tell the city officials or whoever is in charge of this shit that in my humble opinion, they’re fucking retards. And if you fly in to D.I.A, please don’t judge us on the shit you have to look at while driving to proper Denver from the shitty airport.
Sorry this post was negative but that art somehow makes travel worse than it already is. Of course this is an opinion if you like it that’s great, you just have bad taste.
Sorry this post is more negative than most, but that needed to be said.
